Replace the plastic bottles with shampoo and conditioner bars from environmentally conscious French brand Biovène Barcelona. Dermatologist tested, pH-balanced and travel friendly these bars are made without sulfates, parabens and palm oil and are not tested on animals.

I have chosen to try the Damage Control set Coconut & Keratin Shampoo & Coconut & Keratin Conditioner both £5.99 for 40g bars.
Made with a luxurious combination of natural Coconut oil, Macadamia oil, Keratin, Beeswax and Shea butter. This shampoo & conditioner duo will help rescue damaged, dull-looking hair leaving behind velvety soft hair. The Keratin helps revive, strengthen and prevent split-ends while promoting healthy length and density.
I was surprised to see the bars weren't the same size or colour. The shampoo bar (top picture) is a light pink and you can clearly see the brand name whereas the conditioner (middle picture) is white and the brand name is very faint, it is also a slightly thicker bar.
To use: Wet your hair and the shampoo bar. Slide the bar from root to tip 3-5 times. Place down the bar and lather shampoo into hair. Rinse and follow with conditioner.
After shampooing and rinse, smooth the conditioner bar over your wet hair. Massage through and leave in for 1-5 minutes. Rinse clean.
After use, keep your bars away from water and let it dry.
My Thoughts: Although the instructions say to apply directly to hair, I found it worked best to lather the shampoo bar between my hands and then apply the lather to my hair. The conditioner bar however doesn't lather much so I used the conditioner bar directly on my hair, concentrating mostly on the ends of my hair where it is damaged the most.
The Damage Control set is gentle enough to be used daily and leaves hair with an incredibly clean, fresh and satisfying feeling. I found my hair to be less tangled and dried quickly which is a bonus when you have long thick hair like me!
Overall I am happy with this duo, and would definitely add this to my basket again.
